About Me
Raeed is an ambitious, highly motivated learner currently pursuing a dual academic path â studying Computer Science and Engineering at College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University and also enrolled in the BS in Data Science and Applications at IIT Madras.
He balances intense academic work with recreational interests such as reading science fiction, diving into tech blogs, and gaming to unwind. Raeed is passionate about learning how things work and thrives in structured learning environments that offer freedom to explore.
Whether itâs building Python apps, understanding cloud infrastructure, or sharpening his mathematical reasoning, Raeed brings focus and persistence. He aims to evolve into a thoughtful engineer and data scientist who contributes with both skill and vision.
IITM BS Data Science
This innovative program from IIT Madras empowers students to master data-driven decision making. Designed to be flexible and modular, it has three stages: Foundation, Diploma, and Degree. Raeed has completed several foundational subjects such as English I, Statistics I, Mathematics for Data Science, Computational Thinking, and Python Programming.
Each course combines real-world applications with strong theoretical grounding. The curriculum trains students to build and analyze datasets, think algorithmically, and apply statistical tools to uncover patterns and insights. Weekly quizzes, graded programming assignments, and proctored exams ensure rigorous learning.
Raeed actively participates in discussion forums, maintains a study calendar, and strives to complete each weekâs content ahead of time. His goal is to finish the Foundation level with a strong GPA and move confidently into the Diploma phase where applications of data science begin.
EkasCloud & AWS
Guided by EkasCloud, Raeed is learning the fundamentals of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and how cloud infrastructure powers the modern internet. He is gaining hands-on experience with EC2âAmazonâs Elastic Compute Cloud serviceâwhich enables users to launch, configure, and monitor virtual machines.
In this journey, Raeed has worked with Linux and Windows EC2 instances, practiced using key pairs and security groups, and explored concepts such as availability zones, instance types, and EBS volumes. He is also exploring how IAM (Identity & Access Management) is used to control access to AWS services securely.
These practical lessons complement his programming skills and are shaping him into a cloud-literate developer. Soon, Raeed plans to explore services like S3, Lambda, and RDS to understand the broader AWS ecosystem and build deployable, scalable applications.
Health & Lifestyle
With a slender frame and mild myopia (-5D), Raeed is taking steps to enhance both his physical health and mental focus. He follows a self-designed wellness routine that includes eye exercises, walks in natural light, and nutrient-rich meals to support better weight and visual health.
Staying mostly indoors, he is mindful of the need to move regularly, break screen time with short outdoor activities within his apartment complex, and sleep on time (11 PM). Waking up around 9 AM, Raeed aims to gradually shift to an earlier schedule as part of optimizing energy and productivity.
Health is not an afterthoughtâitâs integrated into Raeedâs vision of being at his best, mentally sharp and physically ready to take on the demanding journey of becoming a capable engineer and data scientist.
